The British Council assess the standards of management, resources and premises, teaching and welfare and accredit organisations which meet the overall standard in each area inspected. Twin English Centres are on the list of schools, colleges and universities accredited through Accreditation UK. This means that we meet agreed quality standards guaranteed by the British Council.
EnglishUK is the world's leading language teaching association with over 400 accredited members. They are the voice of the UK English language teaching sector and work with a wide range of partners and stakeholders worldwide to represent the interests of the English language profession.
Twin Group is a founder member of BETA, a member association for organisations primarily engaged in education and/or youth and educational travel. Members of BETA have been in existence as a legal entity for a minimum of one full year, are involved in the business of providing or supplying services to the education and/or youth and educational travel market and are accredited and/or licensed to conduct business where such a requirement is mandatory.

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is responsible for welfare and pension policy. It is the biggest public service delivery department in the UK, servicing over 20 million customers. Jobcentre Plus (JCP) is an executive agency of the Department for Work and Pensions. It provides services that support people of working age from welfare into work, and helps employers to fill their vacancies.
The Skills Funding Agency (SFA) is an agency of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, and funds and regulates adult further education and skills training in England. The SFA invests £4 billion per year in training programmes for adults to enable people to do their jobs better, get new jobs, or progress in their careers, and to play their part in growing England’s economy. The SFA allocates funding to organisations who have discretion over expenditure to meet the needs of local businesses and communities.
The European Social Fund (ESF) aims to improve employment opportunities in the European Union and so help raise standards of living. It aims to support unemployed and disadvantaged people to fulfil their potential through better job prospects. ESF also equips the workforce with the skills needed by business in a competitive global economy. The 2007-2013 England ESF programme is investing £5 billion over seven years of which £2.5 billion is from the ESF and £2.5 billion is national funding.
