Those looking for work experience in the UK will find demand for clever graduates who are keen on making a success of their careers is as high as ever, an expert has said.
Recent government data has shown increased levels of joblessness among those leaving higher education, but founder of recruitment firm Bright Network James Uffindell said this would not stop the best candidates.
He said: "We work with leading recruiters and if you're a bright, ambitious and hungry graduate, demand is as fierce as ever and back to boom time levels."
And having work experience is "critical" to put together a good CV, Mr Uffindell added.
While there are many graduates without work, vacancies in the sector are expected to rise by three per cent this year, the expert noted.
