CBI suggestions to help those looking to find work in London?
The CBi claims there are various issues hindering employment
A suggestion from the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) could be set to benefit those looking to find work in London and other parts of the UK.
If its plans are followed, those seeking a job in Britain could see the government shift its focus towards the private sector.
The organisation called on the coalition to nurture growth in this area, describing growing unemployment in the country as "troubling".
Indeed, it claimed that joblessness among the youth should be a prime target for the government to tackle.
"Businesses are eager to play their part through apprenticeships, training and work placements, but now the government must do all it can to create the right conditions for the private sector," said Neil Carberry, CBI director for employment policy.
A similar statement was recently released by the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development, which claimed that the latest Office for National Statistics figures bring official job forecasts into question.
