Bristol is the fourth most-popular city in the UK with domestic visitors and that is thanks to its wealth of attractions to suit all tastes.
According to a spokesman for Destination Bristol, those on cultural tours of the UK can look forward to beautiful architecture, history and heritage as well as the rich cultural mix in the city.
"There's a buzzy urban, definitely alternative vibe that sits well with a cooler, younger audience that also likes its green, Fairtrade credentials," the representative stated.
He added that for older visitors, the wealth of architecture and history makes Bristol a top-class destination.
The spokesman added that the city is not only popular with domestic tourists but with foreign visitors as well, ranking in fifth place for overall numbers.
Among the attractions people on cultural tours of the UK can look forward to are Bristol Zoological Gardens, Brunel's SS Great Britain and Clifton Suspension Bridge.
