International advice firm Guardian Wealth Management (GWM) is looking to recruit 300 independent financial advisers (IFAs) from around the world in the next five years.
Chief executive of the company David Howell explained that a "new breed" is required by the business to provide repatriate services for those returning to the UK from overseas, as well as foreign nationals working in the country, IFA Online reports.
Thus far, 45 have been hired and Mr Howell noted that new graduates, as well as mortgage advisers, IFAs working in accountancy firms and sole traders considering leaving the industry, have been expressing interest in the recruitment drive.
"We are offering a career that is sustainable as it is not UK-centric," he remarked, adding that many could be attracted by the opportunity to work abroad.
