Minister of State Chris Grayling has been confirmed to give a speech to the upcoming Welfare to Work UK Convention and Exhibition 2011.
The Welfare to Work UK Convention, run by The Centre for Economic and Social Inclusion, is the premier annual event for employment, skills, and tackling child poverty.
The Convention is for everyone involved in the planning and delivery of services to help workless people to find and keep jobs and up to 1,000 delegates will hear from leading policy makers and share best practice at the event.
The convention will take place in Manchester this year at the Manchester Central Convention Complex, from 30 June to 1 July. The topics discussed at this year’s conference will include welfare reforms and narrowing employment outcome gaps for disadvantaged groups.
Other notable figures that will be appearing at the conference include: Shadow Employment Minister Stephen Timms, Chief Operating Officer for Jobcentre Plus Ruth Owen and the National Chairman of Federation of Small Businesses John Walker.
