A work experience placement at a leading Peterborough architects is being offered to one lucky resident.
The Peterborough Evening Telegraph reports that Simons, which is in charge of transforming the Brotherhood Retail Park, is offering someone the chance to gain practical, hands-on experience.
Phil Husby, asset manager at Brotherhood, told the news provider that the placement will be hugely beneficial to whoever secures it.
"This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who has an interest in following a career in design, architecture, retail or graphic design to get some hands-on experience working on real projects," he stated.
Work begins next onth on transforming the plot into a 260,000 sq ft shopping centre and retail complex.
Michael Rabone, HR manager at Rick Stein's The Seafood Restaurant, told the Sun recently that work experience is a great opportunity for young people to show a potential employer what they are made of and the skills they can bring to the table.
