A 14-year-old schoolboy has revealed what a wonderful time he had doing work experience in the UK at Swindon Town Football Club.
Tom Randon told the Swindon Advertiser that he spent time with the team's sports therapist while he treated injured players Josh Parsons, Kevin Amankwaah and Will Evans.
He won the work experience place through npower's What's Your Goal? campaign which sought to give youngsters the chance to get a taste of their dream job.
Tom told the news provider that he was thrilled with the overall experience.
"I have been experiencing what a physiotherapist would do in everyday life. I have really enjoyed it. It has been even better than I imagined," he added.
Tricia Phillips, writing for the Daily Mirror, said recently that obtaining work experience in the UK is a chance for people to get their foot in the door and endear themselves to prospective employers.
