Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are set to be crucial to the UK's emergence from the ongoing economic crisis, it has been suggested.
According to Entrepreneurs in Action, growth and innovation from SMEs is important as they have an essential role to play, which may interest those looking to find work in London.
Derek Browne, chief executive and founder of Entrepreneurs in Action, said national research has revealed how important small business growth and innovation will be to our economic recovery.
He suggested giving young people the skills and confidence "to make the most of those opportunities - for which good grades alone are not enough - is one of the most important challenges for the education and business sectors alike".
His comments follow those made by John Walker, national chairman of the Federation of Small Businesses, who suggested to the government that entrepreneurialism should be encouraged in the Budget as small firms are vital to the economy.
