Travelodge has announced it will be creating 200 new jobs in the run up to Christmas, with 150 of the new vacancies being created in six new establishments.
The budget hotel chain will open properties in Maidenhead, London Whetstone, Lancaster, Paignton, Horsham and Chichester.
A number of positions need to be filled immediately, including bar staff, guest room cleaner, receptionist and housekeeper work opportunities.
"These 200 new jobs are not just for Christmas, we are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and committed individuals who want a long-term career in hospitality," said the company's spokeswoman, Shakila Ahmed.
She added that individuals are given the chance to develop their careers thanks to the firm's advancement programme and in-house training.
Last week, it was reported that 1,000 new jobs are expected to be created on Tyneside after construction firm Offshore Group Newcastle won the contract to build a North Sea drilling structure.
