IT Administrator

We are a diverse international education, training and travel company based in South East London, and are currently looking for an experienced, enthusiastic IT Administrator. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the Company servers, network and support of approximately 100 – 150 users at our London HQ, as well as remotely supporting systems and staff at our UK regional offices, so some site visits will be required on occasion.

Required technical skills include strong Windows Server 2003/2008, MS Exchange Server 2000/2010, Citrix and Wyse thin clients, Virtualisation (using Dell Equallogic SAN, Citrix XenServer 6 and XenApp 6), Active Directory and Policy Management, Windows XP7 and Local and Wide Area Networking. You will also be expected to manage the Inter-Tel telephone system so any experience in this field would be beneficial, however support is available and training will be provided.

3 years’ experience working in a core IT administration and support environment a necessity. Any related Microsoft (MCITP) or Citrix (CCA, CCAA, CCEA or CCIA) qualifications desirable, as is exposure to Web/FTP server, Sage software, Norton Symantec Backup Exec 2010, Watchguard firewalls, Kaspersky anti-virus and Baraccuda web and spam filters.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate good communication skills, enthusiasm and initiative. This role would suit a technically strong candidate with the ability to provide excellent customer service to a mixed level of users in a fast-moving commercial environment.
