Twin Summer Centres were visited by 35 different nationalities last year, according to the company’s annual audit of students.
The highest percentage of learners at Twin Summer Centres were Chinese (32%), followed by Italians (16%) and Spanish (12%). Some of the more far-flung nations to send children to Twin for the summer included Venezuala, Korea and Saudi Arabia.
Twin’s extensive list of student nationalities puts it at the forefront of UK summer schools in offering a culturally diverse experience to students.
Kate Melhorn, Business Development Manager for Twin Summer Centres said: “Twin are proud of the mix of nationalities we have studying at our Summer Centres and we believe that having a wide range of nationalities improves the experience for students.
“When international students learning English interact with people from other nations they learn about other cultures at the same time as learning more about the UK. As the UK is a culturally diverse nation, Twin is delighted to be able to emulate this melting pot in our Summer Centres.”
