PON participants will undertake work experience which is matched to their employability skills and, optionally, their career objectives, so that they can learn new skills and find out more about the industry they want to work in. This varied internship packages will increase students’ understanding of English in a professional environment and enhance their career prospects, as they are able to add international work experience to their CV.
A successful internship can often rely on the quality of the placement sourced and a placement officer’s ability to understand a student’s needs, based on their CV and personal goals. So, it is essential that students are placed by a highly experienced team.
Our award-winning team have years of experience in placing international students for both PON and other programmes, and are highly skilled at securing the right placement for every student. They are dedicated to putting students first when sourcing placements, their ability to do this has been acknowledged by Study Travel Magazine, who awarded us ‘Superstar’ status after we won the Star Work Experience Provider award an amazing five times in seven years.
PON students will be placed in a role that develops their work, interaction and English skills. PON students who are taking a sector-specific internship will benefit from a role which best reflects their career objectives so that they can learn new skills in the sector that they wish to work in. As well as enhancing their employability skills, students will gain a better understanding of how the English language is used in a professional environment which is a great skill to put on their CV. Our internships have been designed to give students full exposure to the UK work environment and ensure they are effectively monitored, tutored and supported on their placement so that they have a rewarding stay in the UK. We are also dedicated to providing students with a focused working environment which will allow them to develop their skills and maximise their potential, so we place a maximum of 2-3 students per company.

Each host company has been carefully selected for their location, sector and working environment they provide for students. We work with a wide range of companies to ensure that we have a broad selection of placements available to provide students with an array of opportunities for their stay. This aims to ensure that your groups get the most out of each company and their role whilst providing them with an ideal UK work environment for them to practise their English.
