The wealth of history on offer in Cambridge is something those on cultural tours of the UK may find of interest.
According to Yolanda Copes-Stepney, destination PR officer for VisitEngland, there are various attractions that visitors can take in, such as re-enactments with knights and a facility where little girls can learn to become princesses.
In addition, there are medieval feasts and demonstrations across the city, giving those on cultural tours of the UK plenty to enjoy.
"Cambridge is full of history. Just taking a city tour is amazing. If you go to the tourist information centre you can get some mainly free walks and for a very small amount you can have ghost walks, historical walks and those kinds of things," Ms Copes-Stepney noted.
The city also boasts a number of open green spaces for visitors to relax in and take in the summer sun, including The Backs and the university's botanic garden.
