Malaysia's Ministry of Education & Twin to deliver new exchange programme

Twin UK launches educational exchange programme supported by the Malaysian Ministry of Education

Twin UK are proud to announce the Minister for Education of Malaysia, Dato' Seri Mahdzir bin Khalid has given his approval for Twin UK’s British School Integration programme to be promoted to all state schools in Malaysia by Twin’s valued partner, Northern Corridor Promotions.

In August this year, The Minister for Education of Malaysia, Dato' Seri Mahdzir bin Khalid met with Twin Group at the Ministry of Education in Putrajaya to discuss the potential collaboration with the Government and Twin on this programme. The Minister was extremely welcoming and perceptive to the idea of providing opportunities to the Malaysian public to further their education in an international environment.

The successful pilot programme of 2016/17 saw two groups of aspiring young Malaysian students travel to London to enjoy a one week experience studying in a British state school. The feedback was so positive that the Ministry of Education has given the authorisation for the programme to be promoted across Malaysia to provide the opportunity for all Malaysian students to learn via the world renowned British Education system and gain an international education experience.

The 2018 programme will provide a two day study period in an “Excellent” OFSTED inspected school ensuring that the educational experience for any Malaysian student joining this programme will be of the greatest quality. This will be followed by a London Tour, allowing the students to see the sights and sounds of one of the world’s largest international metropolises. Additionally, students will be able to visit Cambridge University, ranked within the world's top 5 universities.
